** Baader Helvea ups the German sportswear company Adidas ADSGn.DE to "add" from "reduce", citing brand heat and profitability improvement
** Adidas' progress on profitability improvement, mainly driven by better sales growth momentum, is better than the broker has expected
** Among the main catalysts Baader names brand heat despite an overall dull consumer environment, revitalization of wholesale distribution channel and potential benefit from the current weakness of Nike NKE.N
** Based on strong Q3 results and upgraded guidance, the broker raises its FY 2024 sales growth forecast to +10% (from +7% before) and EBIT to EUR 1,215 mln, which is slightly above Adidas' guidance and consensus expectations
** Out of 32 analysts that cover Adidas AG, 17 rate the stock "strong buy"/"buy", 12 rate it "hold" and three rate the stock "strong sell"/"sell" - LSEG data
